Daily Activities for Adults and Children:
Daily activities, such as games, contests and sports are programmed by our enthusiastic sports and entertainment staff and oriented to adults as well as to children. They are a youthful group of people who work tirelessly to ensure every guest enjoys an unforgettable vacation. You’ll be amazed at their ability to bring out the child in everyone!

If you want to be active, we have a vast selection of land sports such as basketball, volleyball, beach football, billiards, ping pong, tennis and squash to enjoy, along with water sports including water basketball, aquaerobics, kayaking, pedal boats and snorkeling. SCUBA diving lessons can be arranged for you in the pool.

While you are here take advantage of our fully equipped fitness center featuring aerobics and yoga classes. We have bicycles available for our guests so that you can enjoy a cycling trek along the famous Boulevard Kukulkan and take in the fresh air and the local sites, while getting your daily exercise.

Gran Caribe Real Cancun has a variety of non-motorized water sports for you to enjoy included in your All Inclusive plan. There are free SCUBA demonstrations as well as kayaks, sailboats and pedal boats. Instruction is available and is also included

If you would prefer a slower pace there are still many options open to you for an entertaining stay. We offer table games, many interesting books to read, music to listen to or movies to watch from our extensive video library. Optional activities with an extra charge include wave runners, a jungle tour, Isla Mujeres tour, Cancun Queen cruise, diving and much more…

In the evening our guests have fun with a variety of entertaining activities, such as festive theme parties, live music and professional shows reflecting the Mexican Caribbean culture.

Beach and Beach Club

Gran Caribe Real Cancun Resort is located on its own quiet and recently expanded beach of powdery white sand on the sheltered bayside of the Caribbean overlooking Playa Linda. It is a safe area for swimming, snorkeling and kayaking or just lazing under the sun. The azure blue sea is bound to lure you into the sparkling waters to play in the waves even if you choose not to swim.
To quench your thirst and hydrate your skin, we have a great staff of waiters who will serve you any kind of drink, cocktail, juice or snack you might want, right on the beach.

Cancun Beaches in Mexico are Federal Property.

Topless sunbathing is allowed at public beach areas; however, topless sunbathing is not allowed at the Resort.

Gym

Real Resorts feature air-conditioned Fitness Centers, which are available to guests 14 hours a day. The Fitness Center at Gran Caribe Real Cancun is fully equipped with the latest equipment including cardiovascular machines, treadmills, upright and recumbent bikes and weight machines to exercise every major muscle group along with free weights. The gym is located near the beach. Gran Caribe Real Cancun’s activity counselors offer land and water fitness classes daily. Aqua aerobics, stretch, yoga, Tai Chi lessons and toning classes are just some of the daily activities offered.

Kids Club

Our Oki Kids Club offers fully supervised activities between 9:00 A.M. and 8:00 P.M. for children ages 4 - 12 years.

The Gran Caribe Real Beach Resort aims to please a wide variety of age groups, couples, singles and families alike. We know that our young visitors 12 and under, will thoroughly enjoy our Oki Kids Club, especially designed for them. With a kid’s playground and a daily schedule of activities, games and lessons, your children will develop their intelligence and their abilities in a safe, fun and entertaining environment. This allows parents to explore the rest of the resort or even go on an excursion away from the hotel, with the knowledge that their children are in the care of qualified staff. Pool

We have two gorgeous, free-form pools. One is located near the beach and is definitely the more active of the two. Our tireless sports and entertainment team host different activities in this pool, to appeal to all ages; plus they also give SCUBA lessons in this pool. The Trade Winds Beach Bar, Gaviotas International cuisine restaurant and bar and the Health & Sushi Snack bar flank this popular pool area.

The other pool is located on the lagoon side of the hotel, near the Lobby bar and offers you a peaceful Jacuzzi on the nearby deck. Both pools are bordered by expansive sundecks with comfortable lounge chairs so you can relax and soak up the Caribbean sunshine. We also provide wonderful in-water loungers - you may never want to leave the pool!

Shows

Gran Caribe Real Cancun offers a variety of spectacular shows every night in the ballroom. The shows are performed by our sports and entertainment team and appeal to guests of all age groups.
