Daily activities, such as games, contests and sports are programmed by our enthusiastic sports and entertainment staff and oriented to adults as well as to children. They work tirelessly, day and night, to ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional vacation.

If you want to be active, we have a vast selection of land sports such as basketball, beach football, volleyball, tennis, billiards and ping pong to enjoy, along with water sports including aquaerobics, kayaking, snorkeling and water basketball. We also have bicycles available for our guests so they may exercise while enjoying the local sites as they cycle through the charming town of Playa del Carmen

While you are here take advantage of our fully equipped fitness center featuring aerobics and yoga classes or learn to SCUBA dive.

If you would prefer a slower pace there are still many options open to you for an entertaining stay. We offer table games or many interesting books.

In the evening our guests have fun with a variety of entertaining activities, such as festive theme parties, live music and professional shows reflecting the Mexican Caribbean Culture.

Gran Porto Real Playa del Carmen has variety of non-motorized activities for you to enjoy included in your All-Inclusive plan. There are free SCUBA demonstrations as well as kayak, sailboat and snorkeling gear is also provided. Beaches

Gran Porto Real Playa del Carmen is located on the most beautiful stretch of silky-white sand beach in Playa del Carmen, sheltered and protected by a breakwater, making it perfectly safe for swimming, snorkeling, SCUBA diving, jet skiing and kayaking or just lazing under the glorious Mexican-Caribbean sun.

The azure blue ocean is bound to tempt you and entice you into the sparkling waters to play in the waves. The Caribbean Sea is a water-lovers dream come true.

To quench your thirst and hydrate your skin, we have a marvelous staff of waiters who will serve you any kind of drink, cocktail, juice or snack you might want, on the beach.

Beaches in Mexico are federal property.
Topless sunbathing is allowed at public beach areas: however, topless sunbathing is not allowed at the Resort.

Gym

Real Resorts have fitness centers available to guest 14 hours a day. The centers are equipped with cardiovascular machines, including treadmills, upright, recumbent bikes and weight machines (to exercise every major muscle group) and free weights.

Each day normally begins with a power walk on the beach or around the property. The activity counselors at the Gran Porto Real Playa del Carmen, offer land and water fitness classes daily. Aquaerobics, aerobics, stretching and toning classes are just some of the fitness activities offered.

Kids Club

Our Oki Kids Club offers fully supervised activities between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM for children ages 4 - 12 years.

The Gran Porto Real aims to appeal to and please a wide variety of age groups … a perfect choice for couples, singles and families!  We know that our young visitors 12 and under will thoroughly enjoy our Oki Kids Club, especially designed for them. With a kid’s playground and a daily schedule of activities, games and lessons, your children will develop their intelligence and their social and motor skills in a safe, fun and entertaining environment. This allows parents to explore the rest of the resort or even go on an excursion away from the hotel, with the knowledge that their children are in the caring of a qualified staff. Pools

At the Gran Porto Real we offer you the choice of two pools.

Our main giant, freshwater pool located right on the beach is so inviting we know you will be tempted to stake out a special spot and spend the day by the pool with a good book. You’ll find numerous lounge chairs around the pool, including the very popular in-pool loungers, to ensure your comfort while soaking up the Mayan-Caribbean sun. There are also many different activities arranged throughout the day in and around the pool, and even if you decide to only watch, you will enjoy the action and the fun.

Tranquil Pool

The tranquil pool, located on the third floor, is a peaceful and relaxing area with a swim-up bar offering cocktails, tropical drinks and delicious snacks. Nearby, on the rooftop, is a quiet area with a Jacuzzi, providing the perfect location for a romantic dinner and a massage for two, under the stars.

Gran Porto Real Playa del Carmen offers a variety of spectacular shows every night. All events and shows are performed by our sports and entertainment team. The shows are designed for guests of all ages.
