Daily Activities for Adults and Children

Daily activities, such as games, contests and sports are programmed by our enthusiastic sports and entertainment staff and oriented to adults as well as to children. They work tirelessly, day and night, to ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional vacation. They will definitely bring a smile to your face and add some fun to your day.

During the day you can play both land and pool sports, with coaching tips provided by our sports and entertainment team. Beach soccer, volleyball and aqua-aerobics are also offered as well as basketball, tennis, billiards and ping pong. We also provide bicycles for our guests so they can explore the colorful seaside village of Playa del Carmen and enjoy the freedom, fresh air, exercise, surrounding scenery and sunshine on a free-spirited bike excursion.

Real Playa del Carmen Resort & Beach Club provides non-motorized water sports for you to enjoy at their private beach club and kayaks and snorkeling equipment are included for All-Inclusive guests. In addition, an introductory SCUBA diving demonstration and kayak instruction are included.

Many optional activities are offered for an extra charge including wave runners, skyriders for two, jungle tours, sunset cocktail cruises and diving trips to Cozumel; plus many exciting eco-excursions to nearby Mayan sites are easily arranged at the hotel.

If you would prefer a slower pace there are still many options open to you for a perfect vacation experience. We offer table games, a book exchange and a beautiful tranquility garden with hammocks, yoga classes and an enticing SPA garden area offering a menu of divine massage therapies and other body treatments.

In the evening our guests have fun with a variety of entertaining activities such as festive theme parties and live music and entertainment in the hotel’s theatre and various other venues.

Beach Club

We offer our valued guests the use of our beach club, which is located within a cove, protected by a breakwater making a beautiful, safe area for swimming. The pristine white sands are groomed early each day and are just waiting for your arrival. The stunning azure blue sea will tempt you to jump right in, or at the very least, wade in the refreshing surf. Swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, SCUBA diving and jet-skiing help to make Real Playa del Carmen a water sports lover’s dream come true. (Please remember there are no lifeguards on duty). It is a very short walk from the hotel to the beach club, or you may choose to take advantage of the hotel’s complimentary beach shuttle transportation departing every 30 mins. from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

Topless sunbathing is allowed at public beach areas; however, topless sunbathing is not allowed at the resort.

Pool

Our freshwater pool, surrounded by palms and lush gardens, beckons you to dive into the clear, refreshing water. Around the pool are plenty of comfy lounge chairs, for relaxing and soaking up the warm Caribbean sun. Our friendly waiters are only too willing to serve you any kind of drink you might fancy to quench your thirst and keep you hydrated. We also supply you with beach towels and little ones will enjoy their own special section of the pool reserved just for them.
